Multimedia Case Studies of Engineering Design
ME39C was a freshman/sophomore seminar developed by Alice Agogino and Sherry Hsi in the department of Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley where students learned how to communicate case studies of engineering design through multimedia. (The freshman/sophomore seminars were added by Chancellor Chang-Lin Tien to help motivate undergraduate students at Cal by bringing them into small classes with senior faculty.)
ME139 was a junior/senior seminar I developed to allow upper division students to serve as project managers in the design and development of the multimedia case studies in ME39C.
I co-taught ME39C and ME139 with Sherry Hsi and Alice Agogino from 1994 to 1999.
